Unitex Industries opened its doors at Chicago's world famous Merchandise Mart.  Just a few years later, we moved directly across the Chicago River to the landmark Fulton House.  But it was in 1985 that Unitex finally settled into its permanent home - in the historic Village of Oak Park, storied land of Ernest Hemingway and Frank Lloyd Wright.  By this time, our factory, FashionAire, had been up and running for ten years in the enchanting pastoral setting of beautiful River Falls, Wisconsin.  In 2011, we proudly celebrated our factory's 35th Anniversary.  To this day, the ladies of FashionAire continue to produce drapery, curtains, and bedspreads of a quality unequaled in the contract industry.  And so the legacy continues...
